Overview
Blackfriar Professional Polyurethane Floor Paint protects floors with a tough, hardwearing, polyurethane finish. Resists oil, grease and chemicals, making it ideal for interior and exterior, industrial and domestic surfaces.

- Resistant to grease, oil and weak solutions of acid and alkali
- For foot and light traffic areas
- Tintable to RAL, NCS, Brand Colours and British Standard 4800, 381C and 5252F
NOT suitable for use over PVC, thermoplastic tiles, quarry tiles, asphalt floors or granolithic concrete. Do not apply to concrete surfaces treated with alkali containing liquids, areas subjected to rising damp or areas treated with PVA bonding solutions.
Tinted Colour Information
Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Zinsser tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.Area | Interior & Exterior |

Preparation
Make sure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean, dry and free from grease or any substance that is likely to make adhesion difficult.
- Scrape off any old or flaking paint until you have a firm surface.
- Areas under cars must be completely clear of oil, grease, dirt and road salt.
- New concrete must be left for at least 6 months before applying Blackfriar Professional Polyurethane Floor Paint.
Application
Note: Always follow the manufacturer's directions found on the tin.
- Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply with a brush or roller, working the paint into any surface imperfections.
- Bare or New Surfaces: First apply , followed by 1-2 coats of Blackfriar Professional Polyurethane Floor Paint.
- Previously Painted Surfaces: Apply 1-2 coats with a brush or roller. Do not spray
- If concrete floors are very smooth, pre-treat with Blackfriar Professional Acid Etch followed by Blackfriar Solvent Based Floor Sealer before applying 1-2 coats of this product.
- Surfaces are slippery when wet. The floor must be kept dry when in use. Use protective mats to help preserve the surface under vehicle tyres.
